ENJOY £10,000 TOWARDS YOUR STAMP DUTY AT THE SCENE
Even though lockdown has put a halt to vacations abroad, everyone’s still talking about one type of holiday in particular – stamp duty.
Homebuyers are flocking the property market to make the most of the stamp duty holiday and the benefits that it brings. Saving vast amounts of money, savvy buyers dedicate time to house-hunting to find their perfect that meets the criteria for the stamp duty holiday, all before the end of June 2021.
But even though these stunning homes at The Scene won’t be complete in time for the Stamp Duty Holiday, lucky buyers can still bag themselves £10,000 towards their stamp duty on a charming new 2 or 3-bed apartment*.
Available on selected homes this spring when buyers reserve between 15 – 22 May, Help-to-Buyers interested in The Scene can rest assured that part of their stamp duty has been covered by Peabody and Sherrygreen Homes. And even though the £10,000 has to be spent towards SDLT, this does mean that you can reach your target saving sooner and potentially put extra money towards something else in the home, like…
Furniture and Decorating
If you’ve seen any episodes of the Peabody Interior Challenge, you’ll know how important it is to make the most helpful interior tips to transform your apartment into a home. So having spare cash to do this is great and means that you can create a homely home and make the most of great layouts at The Scene sooner than you’d think. Whether it’s zoning spacious apartments to create dedicated working-from-home areas, using the second room as a “clo-office” (walk-in closet/office) or transforming private balconies into an outdoor oasis; the choice is yours when you have spare money to burn.
(But don’t forget to hold off until after your new home has settled and after your defects quality period is over to put paint and wallpaper on the walls!)
Kitchenware and Accessories
A chef is only as good as their tools – and with spacious kitchen layouts, modern integrated appliance and plenty of room to create delicious dishes, you may choose to make the most of money you would have spent on stamp duty and put it towards kitchen gadgets; or the ever popular (and always out of stock!) air fryer!
Entertainment and Tech
Now that bars and pubs are slowly opening and the buzz of the social scene will soon return. But if local hot spots like “The Tapas Room” and “Jars Bars” is full, fear not – you can recreate that feeling of going “out-out” in your own home. So perhaps consider putting spare funds from your SDLT saving towards a new sounds system to complement at home cocktail making, Deliveroo dinners or even a “working from home” playlist. Or invest in a cinematic TV screen for cosy movie nights with friends and family.
Or you could save the extra money for a rainy day. You never know when the additional savings may come in handy. But whatever and however you choose to use the money you would have put towards your stamp duty, make the most of our offer this spring with £10,000 towards your stamp duty.
And if you’re interested in visiting us at The Scene, we’d love to show you what we have to offer every Tuesday – Saturday at the marketing suite. Book your appointment by registering your interest or call us on 020 7089 1274.
