The first and most accessible way to benefit from Shared Ownership Week is to listen to the Property Pod. The first episode available is an introduction to what Shared Ownership is, which is perfect if you are still unsure what the scheme is all about. Join us at the London Home Show in Westminster

Coinciding with Shared Ownership Week, from 10am to 5pm on Saturday 23 September, you can join us at the country’s biggest exhibition dedicated to first-time buyers: London Home Show. This is the perfect opportunity to meet with experts from the property industry to answer all your questions and gain clarity on how easy and straightforward the Shared Ownership process can be.

As for previous years, we have worked hand-in-hand with the organisers to offer you useful sessions to ask experts all the questions you might have and discover how Shared Ownership can help you onto the property ladder. We will be leading an Ask the Experts Session during which you will learn key information about Shared Ownership: from eligibility criteria to affordability. Shared Ownership is a scheme that can require a very low deposit which is a huge advantage.

Shared Ownership is a part buy/part rent scheme introduced in the 1980s to help people who can’t afford to buy a home outright. In the current housing market, in some circumstances, Shared Ownership can be a more affordable alternative to renting privately.
